100 Years of Beauty - Aging in Marriage

In this short clip, an engaged couple is given make-overs to show how they will look as the years pass by. It's quite touching...and a little bit funny (let's be honest, his hair?), but it definitely invites reflection and pondering about the commitment of marriage, and the joy that comes from sharing a full life together.
Think back to the day you were married. Did you truly understand what that commitment would mean? Did you realize what it would mean to share day-to-day life with another human being, and to go through all the ups and downs that come with life?

Sharing life with your best friend is a beautiful thing. This clip reminds us that in marriage, we share all of life together. The good times and the bad. The funny times and the serious times. We work together. We learn together. We age together. We grow old together. This clip reminds us of the beauty of aging. The wrinkles, the gray hairs, and the false teeth are all indicators of a rich and full life - spent together. A life full of memories, laughter, and tears. A life shared together, as husband and wife. A true "happily ever after," type of story. Which is what we all want, right?

So, relish the wrinkles, the gray hairs, and the stiff knees. It only means you and your spouse are living the dream of growing old together.

Last words we'd say to each other? That brought tears to my eyes... I told Kathy that I love her. She was on life support. Now she's in heaven.
So don't neglect telling them!
