A Perfect Couples Getaway - The French Cottage in South Carolina

you're going to want to stay here - The French Cottage in Pickens, South Carolina
Written by Anthony & Cindy Perdrix
WIN A 3-NIGHT STAY
AT THE FRENCH COTTAGE!
***See details below!***
BONJOUR !!!

It all started like a fairy tale. Cindy is American and Anthony is French. Cindy was raised in a small country city in South Carolina; Anthony was born and raised in the capitol of France  - Paris.

It was very unlikely for this beautiful country lady and this ‘big city,’ French gentleman to meet, but love is magic…so it happened.

And when a French Gentleman and a Southern Lady meet, it creates a firework.

Today, we have a big family, we have made South Carolina our home, and we are very happy. We believe in God, family, and hard work. And we believe that we can achieve all our life goals, as long as we put a lot of love and passion into all we do.

But we don’t want to stop there. We want to inspire and make a difference in other people's lives, especially in other couples' lives.

We believe that happiness doesn't reside in things but rather in moments.

Moments of joy, of sharing, of giving, of happiness, of pure passion, of complete love.

So we decided to do something. While traveling through the U.S. and in Europe, it became very apparent to us, that our unique combination could put us in a situation where we could bring a little bit of “French Touch” into the American culture. This is how the idea of “the French Cottage” was born - a very unique place in South Carolina where couples can rejuvenate through a “Touch” of French Culture.
come stay at our romantic French cottage!
The French Cottage experience is a place for couples to retreat and reconnect, through a “French Culture” experience in the U.S..

T
he French Cottage experience is connected to something that is important in the French Culture - romantic getaways.

Many couples get away, for a couple of days, somewhere, perhaps to a castle, a bed and breakfast, or a historical house - a secret place where life can slow down, worries can stay outside, and where they can concentrate on what really matters, love.
the perfect place for a romantic getaway
This place is dedicated to love and French romance.

The Cottage has been designed to recreate a few things: 1. Anthony’s home country, France, and his home city, Paris and 2. our passion for romance; and 3. the location of Cindy’s home country, the USA.

Every detail is thought as a wink to the French culture.

To give you some examples, the bed is a hand-made bed that has been built to remind you of the prestigious life that Kings, Queens, Knights, and Princesse used to have in France.

You will find Herbes de Provence and Vanilla Pot Pourri by the bed to bring a gentle natural smell to the place. French Ladies do that in their home to always make the place welcoming and appeasing.

Enjoy the perfect couples getaway!
The chandelier above the bed is a very unique piece. Many places in France and especially in Paris are dedicated to balls and dance. And they have magnificent chandeliers that give so many shiny lights to the place.
stunning French Cottage - perfect for couples getaway!
The chairs are called “Bergeres” and are especially used in fancy apartments in Paris. They are very comfortable and are great to relax with a good book.

Open the trunk or search in the vase and you will find a lot of old romantic letters, songs, expressions in French with their translations in English. Try to say something in French to your loved one. ;)
The mirrors are a reminder also of the Mirror Hall of the Chateau de Versailles (Close to Paris, where Louis XIV, the “Sun King” built the most magnificent castle to impress the entire world).

You can enjoy a dinner and/or a breakfast in the dining area. This place has been thought to make you dream about Paris restaurant and cafes. There is never a lot of space in these restaurants in Paris, they are small, but intimate. Lovers need to be close to each other.

Cindy and Anthony can prepare for you a plate of fine French cheese, salami, bread and other delicacies, along with a typical French breakfast in the morning.

In the bathroom, you will be able to enjoy a very large claw foot bath tub that can welcome two lovers.
Come stay at The French Cottage in South Carolina!
If you believe in eternal unbreakable union, you're going to find the Paris love lock bridge story very romantic. The 'lock bridge' is a sort of tradition or ritual that is practiced on the bridges of the Seine River in Paris. Couples inscribe their names on padlocks, lock it on the bridge and throw the keys into the river. The ritual symbolizes love locked forever. Now, isn’t that romance at its best? Well, the French Cottage has its own Love Tree, where you can lock your love forever.
Come stay at our French cottage!
There is so much more we would like to share….but more than anything, we want to make a difference, share our culture with our guests, and hep you to create amazing memories.

I would love to take my husband on a rom sting get away. After enduring 2 years of health problems, job loss and loss of our dad, I would love to have a few days getting reacquainted to my best friend and husband. When life happens it seems like marriage takes a back seat and doesn’t get the attention it deserves. I did all three of the items listed above. Thank you for allowing me to enter this giveaway.

We have 3 small children and it's often hard to get that alone time. My mother also passed away a few months ago, just days after the baby was born so it's been rough lately. The French cottage looks beautiful! My husband being an architect and myself a photographer would appreciate it very much!

I’m already subscribed to your Instagram and newsletter! Thank you for all the wonderful marriage resources! I’d love to win this giveaway because vacations are one of the top ways my husband and I reconnect. We’re unplugged from the rest of the world and can really focus on our marriage. Exploring new places, trying new foods and creating new memories helps fuel our marriage. This cottage and the setting seem like a great opportunity to do all these things.

Hi Sarah Clark here! Followed on Facebook, Instagram, and subscribed to newsletter!
My cute husband is just finishing his first year as a middle school science teacher (which he loves, but we all know 7th graders are exhausting!) so we definitely need some reconnection time this summer to relax after his long days at school followed up by helping me play with our amazing baby when he gets home. Not to mention he speaks French BEAUTIFULLY and would so enjoy the themed cottage (and definitely speak to me in that sexy language the whole time.) ❤️
Thanks for the contest!

I liked and followed on FB, followed on Instagram, and subscribed to newsletter. I would love to have a weekend getaway with my husband. We don’t get to spend much romantic time together as we both work full time jobs with opposite schedules (I as a 911 dispatcher on evening shift, and he works for the City Public Works) as well as we own a business that we both work at when not at our full-time jobs. During the week we don’t see each other at all and both work at our business on Saturdays, so our only time to spend together is on Sundays.

My husband and I don't get away enough, we have recently let life get in the way of our marriage, work, stress, family. All good things. But the "us" part of life has been falling behind. This has never happened before. A romantic three day getaway would help us reconnect. A few years ago my husband tried learning French just so he could say romantic things to me. This would be a fun suprise to add to that!

Good morning, I have subscribed to your weekly newsletter. I would very much appreciate and value a romantic getaway with my husband. We both work, have been married for 23 years and have 5 children together. Just recently my husband was diagnosed with cancer and we have been on a rollercoaster ever since. I think this vacation is exactly what we need to for us not to think about all of the uncertainty this critical illness has brought into our lives. Time away will also give us a chance to eliminate some of the stress we both encounter in everyday life. I know being at such a beautiful place will allow us to relax, build memories and most of all reconnect as a couple.

My husband and I just celebrated eight years of a very rocky marriage. I know I’ve taken him for granted and he has lied and cheated but all that aside we are trying to learn to be nice to each other and to remember why we fell in love. We want to be in love with each other again just all the stress of work and family takes a toll on a marriage when one or both stop working at it.

Bonjour and thank you for your giveaway. My wife and I are at an incredible point in life, an incredibly hard point. I am 8 years into training to become an eye surgeon. My wife: a homeschool mother of 4 and founder of a niche forest school community. Our time together just simply doesn’t exist, and unfortunately, the pay in residency is next to nothing. I often work weekends seeing patients all throughout South Carolina, only to return to Georgia to operate on critical eye diseases throughout the week. Our marriage is not failing —we are powering through life; but a getaway would be such a relief from the fast treadmill of life that we are running on. We appreciate your thoughtful contribution to marriages and would love a romantic getaway!

I'm so excited my husband is back after he left me for another woman. My husband was having an affair with a co-worker and i love my husband so much but he was cheating on me with his co-worker and this girl i think use witchcraft or black magic on my husband to make him hate me and this was so critical and uncalled-for, I cry all day and night for God to send me a helper to bring back my boyfriend! I was really upset and I needed help, so I searched for help online and I came across a website that suggested that Dr Jumba can help get ex-boyfriend back fast. So, I felt I should give him a try. I contacted him and he told me what to do and I did it, then he did a love spell for me. 11hours later, my husband really called me and told me that he misses me so much, Oh My God! I was so happy, and today I am happy with my man again and we are joyfully living together and I thank the powerful spell caster Dr.Jumba, he is so powerful and I decided to share my story here. If you are here and your Lover is turning you down, or your husband moved to another woman, do not cry anymore, contact Dr.Jumba for help now..Here’s his contact website : https://drjumbaspellhome.wordpress.com or [email protected]
