George H.W. & Barbara Bush

We know what you're thinking, "How in the world did they get an interview with a former President of the United States and First Lady?!"

Unfortunately, we weren't able to get an interview with the former President and First Lady (apparently, the Bush's are in pretty high demand these days!).  But, we still couldn't pass up the opportunity to feature a couple that just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary!  Yes, you read right - 70 years! SEVENTY!

Regardless of your political leanings (we aren't promoting any political parties here) seventy years of marriage is a huge accomplishment that we can all rally behind!

These two lovebirds met at a Christmas dance in Massachusetts back in 1941. They were married four years later, on January 6, 1945 at the ripe old ages of 20 and 19. Now, seventy years later, they're still standing beside each other.

These two are living proof that anything is possible as long as you've got that special someone by your side. Despite a demanding career in business and politics (not to mention six kids along the way!) these two were able to push through thick and thin and come out champions.

No couple reaches their 70th anniversary without a whole lot of "nurturing marriage" along the way.  It takes constant work, effort, patience, forgiveness, compromise, kindness, selflessness, and love. But it's well worth every effort.

Former President Bush says it best, "I've climbed perhaps the highest mountain in the world, but even that cannot hold a candle to being Barbara's husband."

Clearly, marriage is what matters most - so make every effort today, and always, to nurture your marriage!

Hi, did you know there are spells to win love back from an ex. I have done it. I love reading about relationships and how to make them work, how to better the relationship, and how to keep the spark alive, even how to talk to them a certain way to get them to think a different way about the situation and you. If you need advice or want to win your ex back, try DR EMU copy and message on the following ( Email: [email protected] ) or ( WhatsApp: +2347012841542 ) It will change your mentality and get you what you want.
