Let's face it. You are full of good intentions.
Really, you are.
You want to nurture your marriage.
You want to be a better person for your spouse.
You want to change, improve, progress, and be better, am I right?
...but then life happens.
Sometimes you let life happen to you instead of choosing to take the reins and decide who and what you'll be and what kind of effort you are willing to put into that beautiful marriage of yours.
Take a minute and think about what choices you made to intentionally nurture your marriage this past week.
Have you ever found yourself wondering how it is that the person you used to call, text and spend every waking moment with seems to have disappeared from your life? You are like two ships passing in the night. He works late, you leave early.
You never notice when he slips into bed at night, and you hardly see each other in the course of a week. You never have meals together, rarely text each other, and hardly ever have real conversations since your conversations on the phone always seem to go like this,
"Hey hun, did you pick up my dress from the dry cleaners?" "Yes. How was your day?" "Fine. Yours?!"
There you are, having a nice, relaxing evening sitting with your significant other watching a movie.
You feel like the mood is right and you lean in for that kiss….only to have your partner quickly move the other direction or make a sarcastic comment back to you.
Perhaps this particular scenario has never happened to you but almost anyone who has been in a relationship has experienced some form of rejection when they’ve attempted to initiate intimacy.
Whether it’s a rejected kiss or a feeling that your spouse never wants to engage in sex anymore, sometimes it may feel like continuing to make these attempts is fruitless and frustrating.
Your marriage needs more cuddling.
No matter how many years you have been married, the one thing your marriage could always use more of is cuddling.
That's the plain and simple truth.
So we are here to tell you about the 7/7/7 Cuddling Experiment - what it is and why you and your spouse are going to want to try it - ASAP!
